As opposed to many countries, the concept of Principal Investigator (PI) with a research group is not common in France. As most of the researchers are tenured, laboratories are organized by teams or groups of permanent researchers collaborating with each others. On this page, "My group" refers only to the non-tenure researchers I hired to work on specific projects that have been funded, regardless of the other permanent researchers involved.
